Rasmussen today

Bush is at a 45% approval rating today...

Bush was at 40% on Fitzmas morning...

That's over a 10% surge...

In a country of about 300 million people, that's 30 Million more who think Bush is doing a good job.

Want to take bets once the Alito bounce is included?

My prediction: 49%

Joe Wilson today

Cliff May reports on Joe Wilson's interview with Wolf Blitzer today (Video here on NRO's Media blog):

Did anyone else watch Wolf Blitzer interview Joe Wilson? It was astonishing. The guy claimed the Vanity Fair photo was an attempt at humor and irony – and that having her picture in that and other publications did not harm her prospects for future employment as a covert agent.

Funny how the Washington Post had a little different take on the lasting damage of the Vanity Fair photo shoot...

At the same time, Wilson's publicity efforts -- and his work for Sen. John F. Kerry's presidential campaign -- have complicated his efforts to portray himself as a whistle-blower and a husband angry about the treatment of his wife. The Vanity Fair photos, in particular, hurt Plame's reputation inside the CIA; both Wilson and Plame have said they now regret doing the photo shoot.

If he was under oath, wouldn't this be...what's the word I'm looking for...oh yeah...a LIE.

White Castle Turkey Stuffing recipe

I am so forcing this on my family this Thanksgiving...

10 White Castle hamburgers, no pickles
1 1/2 cups celery, diced
1 1/4 tsp. ground thyme
1 1/2 tsp. ground sage
3/4 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper
1/4 cup chicken broth

In a large mixing bowl, tear the burgers into pieces and add diced celery and seasonings. Toss and add chicken broth. Toss well. Stuff cavity of turkey just before roasting. Makes about 9 cups (enough for a 10- to 12-pound turkey). Note: Allow 1 hamburger for each pound of turkey, which will be the equivalent of 3/4 cup of stuffing per pound.

Stock Market up 172 points on Friday...Rasmussen today has Bush up 2 points...Miers has withdrawn...GDP grew at 3.8% annual rate in the third in Iraq...Pat Buchanan and David Frum agreeing with each other...this is the great Fitzmas miracle for the left?
